What is Resin Indion 225 Na - ION Exchange?
Resin Indion 225 Na - ION Exchange is a powerfully acidic cation exchange resin comprising of sulphonic acid groups and is specially formulated for the treatment of beverages, foodstuffs, potable water and water used in food processing. Functional Group: Sulphonic acid. Operating pH Range: 0 to 14 Ionic Form as Supplied: Sodium. Matrix: Styrene divinyl benzene copolymer. Resistance to Reducing Agents: Good Resistance to Oxidizing Agents: Good if chlorine is absent.
INDION 225 Na is used most widely in sodium form for water softening application. It can be used also in two-stage de-ionising as the cation exchanger in the hydrogen cycle
