3AM-CI-203 (Corrosion Inhibitor)

Introduction:
3AM-CI-203 is a water soluble corrosion inhibitor -used in oil refineries and in other chemical
industry processes in oil refinery. The product inhibits corrosion caused by CO2, H2S, SO2, HCl

and other corrosive gases and their by-products during production and refining processes more 
particularly in refinery overhead systems as well as transportation and storage of oils (water-in-oil
emulsion / salt water-in-oil emulsion) in refinery and oil field industry.

Contents:
The product contains suitable blend of organic filming amines and their reaction adducts in
appropriate solvent.

Advantage: 
The inhibitor 3AM-CI-203 is meant for chemical process system e.g. refinery overhead systems, which
do not cause emulsions which lead to oil carry-under. Aqueous condensates in refinery overhead
systems are extremely corrosive due to the presence of HCI from the hydrolysis of chloride salts
indigenous to crude oil composition and other corrosion agents. Thus, the product provides

· Excellent multi-metal protection against corrosion 
· Works effectively on wide pH range and temperature up to 150 C 

· product contains no halogens, phosphorous and heavy metals 
· Compatible with other refinery chemicals 
· Inhibits multi-metal systems

Usage method:

3AM-CI-203 can be injected into, or otherwise added to, the refinery system in
batch or continuous manner. The effective dose is 20 to 200 ppm and precisely it may be 100120ppm.
It can be added neat or diluted with water or formulated or blended with other additives
useful in refineries.
